Malta is arguably one of the most creative countries in the world. Almost every month there is a cultural celebration of some kind. This has allowed the population of Malta to express themselves via different artforms often delighting on the world stage.Malta makes a conscious effort to nurture and develop creativity among its population. The Malta Art Fund provides financial support for Maltese artistic initiatives and to some degree art on an international scale. It is part of the Arts Council Malta and forms part of the Strategy2020 plan which focuses on five key segments to develop and promote art across the country. With Malta’s commitment to the arts, you could be forgiven for thinking that every project receives funding automatically.  Arts Council Malta, which includes KulturaTV, has stringent guidelines and go before a judging panel before even a penny is given to the artistic project.
