The Egyptian Ministry of Culture is offering to provide the accommodation and local transportation for one theatre group (not to exceed 15 members) to participate at the Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theatre. The application form, together with all other information requested, is to be sent to the Festival Administration by not later than 15th August 2010 and can be downloaded from here. The Ministry of Tourism and Culture will be hosting a delegation of Corfiots in Malta next month. The delegation includes the Corfu Choir and distinguished Maltese-Corfiot guests. For this occasion, the Corfu Choir, under the music direction of Mro Lefteris Spinoulas, will be presenting a Choral Concert on Saturday, 4th March 2006 at 6.30pm at St Paul’s Anglican Pro-Cathedral, Valletta. Maltese audiences will have their first opportunity to watch one of the most glorious scores written by the American composer Leonard Bernstein, Candide, in its Scottish opera concert version. Café Premier is making a comeback with live open-air evening entertainment in Valletta. The café and restaurant will be hosting an entertaining evening every Wednesday, as from next week with the participation of George Curmi Pusé and his Band. Local theatre group Aleateia is putting up a one-act version of their successful play Drowning Lilies on the 29th, 30th, 31st July at 8.00pm, at the MITP Theatre in St Christopher Street Valletta as part of Evenings on Campus 2005, SUPA (Summer University of Performing Arts). The play tells the story of a pair of Siamese twins who were exploited by their mother as performers during the 1920s. The National Museum of Archaeology and other museums will be open for visitors from 6.00pm on the occasion of Notte Bianca – Lejl Imdawwal thanks to the collaboration of Heritage Malta. The National Museum of Archaeology setting will provide an enhanced backdrop for the Denner Clarinet Quartet. The classical recital is one of the several events being held in Valletta on October 14, for Notte Bianca – Lejl Imdawwal. The concert starts at 7.15pm and ends at 8.45pm. The Denner Clarinet Quartet’s programme will feature works by Albinioni, Mozart, Rossini, Crusell, Arrieu, Harvey and Sciberras. The group is made up
