Take a day trip to paradise! Located on Comino, the third island on the Maltese archipelago, Malta’s Blue Lagoon rivals even the most stunning tropical destinations. The amazing, crystal-clear waters will remind you of those dreamy postcards from remote islands in the Pacific Ocean. The island itself is almost uninhabited, except for two residents.

The downside? You won’t be the only one drawn to its breathtaking turquoise waters. Prepare for crowds, as this lagoon is undoubtedly Malta’s most popular summer attraction.

Beach Hopping

As the sun shines bright and the temperatures become hot, what better way to refresh yourself than to explore the best beaches Malta has to offer?

From secluded rocky coves to family-friendly sandy beaches, you’re spoilt for choice!

My favourite beaches include Golden Bay, Paradise Bay, Għadira Bay, and Ramla Beach (Gozo). St. Peter’s Pool is also a popular one, although it isn’t a beach, strictly speaking, but more of a natural pool.

Take a dip in the Mediterranean Sea, snorkel and watch the rich marine life!

Marvel at Blue Grotto

Blue Grotto is a natural gem located south of Malta and can be explored during a boat trip. It consists of a group of caves bathed in pristine waters, casting fascinating reflections on the rocks, whose colours are brought out by the sunshine.

Valletta, Malta’s capital city, is one of the smallest capital cities in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The “City built by gentlemen”, as goes its motto, has countless treasures, whose St. John’s Co-Cathedral, the Grandmaster’s Palace, the Upper Barrakka Gardens, Valletta Waterfront, the National Museum of Archaeology and the Lascaris War Rooms, which played a crucial role during the Second World War.

Cross the Grand Harbour to the Three Cities

Take a boat ride to Malta’s The Three Cities, facing Valletta, and stroll the narrow streets at your own pace. Start with Birgu, the most fascinating one.

Immerse Yourself in Malta’s Rich History

Malta brims with historical sites like St. Paul’s Catacombs, the megalithic temples and the fortified city of Mdina.

Some village festi are held in June, like the feast of St. Peter and St. Paul (Mdina, Nadur in Gozo).
