Private Taxi: The Quickest and Most Comfortable Option

If you are not on a budget, a private transfer from Malta International Airport is the quickest and the most comfortable option to get to St. Julian’s. While there is a regular taxi service (white cars) available at Malta Airport, you will need to queue and wait so I have found a better option: Welcome Pickups.

This private transfer company from Malta Airport to St. Julian’s offers excellent service with an unrivalled level of convenience and comfort. Here is what you will get:

  • Professional and friendly taxi drivers
  • Your taxi driver is waiting for you in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name.
  • Flight monitoring so that your driver will be there even if your flight is delayed.
  • Door-to-door service with the driver dropping you in front of your hotel door.

Ride-hailing Services

Various ride-hailing companies also offer private transfers. The main ones are Uber, Bolt and eCabs, and you need to download their app to book a ride.

Although around 20% cheaper than the previous airport transfer option, it is not the most reliable airport transfer service to St. Julian’s. Expect to pay more and wait extra time when the demand is high.

Tips

  • Booking your private transfer in advance will save you time and hassle.
  • The taxi drivers know Malta inside out and are ready to share some insider tips with you. Just ask them!
